Faith Story: Extended Version

"Our Church, as well as I personally, experienced an amazing time of personal spiritual growth. I was encouraged by Martin's preparedness and heart for expositing the scriptures. Martin was bold in his proclamation of the whole gospel and his invitation to trust Christ."
- Mark Swan, Pastor Grace Baptist Church

"Martin has a clear sense of divine calling to preach the Gospel. That conviction translates into a powerful preaching ministry. I am proud to call Martin a friend a co-laborer in the Lord Jesus."
- David Moerschel, Evangelist
Martin Irvin
Martin Irvin is a native of rural Southern Illinois. He was raised on a traditional family farm. At the tender age of 13 he responded in faith to Christ for salvation. Then at the age of 16, he surrendered to the call to preach. In the early stages of his call, Martin knew he was to do the work of an evangelist. During his years in high school and community college his itinerant preaching schedule was full with pulpit supply, special meetings, and revival meetings. Martin also has served as an Interim Pastor of two churches in Illinois.

Martin is a graduate of Rend Lake College and Union University. He is also a recent graduate of Southern Seminary. He received his Master of Divinity degree from the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth. Martin has been involved in evangelism throughout his ministry. In 2000-2002 Martin served as the president of the Southern Evangelistic Teams (SET). SET is a student led organization that involves students in many evangelistic opportunities with churches in the Greater Louisville area. In recognition of his service in SET, Dr. Mohler president of Southern Seminary signed a certificate of appreciation to recognize Martin's evangelistic leadership.

Martin is now in the initial phases of his evangelistic ministry. In 2006 Martin joined the Association for Evangelists of the Billy Graham School of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is ready to devote his ministry efforts to full time evangelism.
